Sparked by the discovery of the lifeless body of a teenage girl in the desert; When no one claims the body, Noelle Al Saffan, a newly divorced, true crime aficionado who recently lost a child of her own, gets obsessively involved. Despite a ticking clock that seemingly guarantees the girl’s senseless death will be discarded as a cold case, Noelle is determined to identify the body and uncover the truth. She slowly unravels a mystery entangled within a traditional society in transition, where women are learning to create more space for themselves and to take control of their own destinies.

Cinecenta is pleased to welcome Unidentified’s Director of Photography for post screening discussions about his experiences working on this film in Saudi Arabia.

Canadian born  Monty Rowan began his career in Hollywood in 1984 as a Camera Operator, working in film, commercial, and television projects. Some career highlights are Single White Female (dir Barbet Schroeder),  A Simple Plan, The Quick and the Dead, and For Love of the Game (dir Sam Raimi), Stuart Saves His Family, The Year One, and Atlanta, (dir Harold Ramis).  Beginning in 2012, Monty  began  exclusively perusing work in areas of film making that he had fallen in love with over the years. Cinematography, Directing, Editing and Producing. He has many credits in low budget features, feature documentaries and short films.
